Configuring the TP-Link ER605 to use Lumiun DNS via DoH

This article will enable your router to forward DNS requests using the DoH protocol.

Note: The DoH option is only available on routers with hardware version V2.0 or higher. Please ensure that the firmware is also up to date.

  1. In your web browser, access your router's configuration interface.

  2. In the left menu, click on the Network tab, and then on the LAN option.

  3. In the Network List section, click the button to edit your LAN interface.

  4. In DHCP, in the Primary DNS field, enter the IP address of your Gateway (Router). After that, save the change.

  5. In the left menu, click the Services tab, then click the DNS Proxy option.

  6. Select the DoH option and click Add to proceed with the configuration.

  7. Fill in the Name field with LumiunDoH. In the DNS Server field, enter your DoH address, available in your site page (https://doh.ldns.io/abcd1234). Click Enable.

  8. At the top of DoH Server, click Enable and save.

That's it! You can now view reports on your Lumiun DNS dashboard and also define policy rules.
