Configuring the Google Chrome browser to use Lumiun DNS
In this configuration, Google Chrome will send your requests to Lumiun DNS via the secure DoH (DNS-over-HTTPS) protocol.
In this article, we will discuss the specific configuration in the Google Chrome browser.
Step-by-step
-
Access your Google Chrome browser settings.
-
Under Privacy and Security, select Security.
-
In the Advanced section, scroll down to the Select DNS provider option and change it to Add custom DNS service provider.
-
Fill in the field below with the DoH address of your Lumiun DNS site:
https://doh.ldns.io/abcd1234
- replacing abcd1234 with the ID of the desired site - see the ID on the sites page. -
Close your browser and reopen it.
That's it! You can now view reports on your Lumiun DNS dashboard and also define policy rules.
