Configuring the Google Chrome browser to use Lumiun DNS

In this configuration, Google Chrome will send your requests to Lumiun DNS via the secure DoH (DNS-over-HTTPS) protocol.

In this article, we will discuss the specific configuration in the Google Chrome browser.

Step-by-step

  1. Access your Google Chrome browser settings.

  2. Under Privacy and Security, select Security.

  3. In the Advanced section, scroll down to the Select DNS provider option and change it to Add custom DNS service provider.

  4. Fill in the field below with the DoH address of your Lumiun DNS site: https://doh.ldns.io/abcd1234 - replacing abcd1234 with the ID of the desired site - see the ID on the sites page.

  5. Close your browser and reopen it.

That's it! You can now view reports on your Lumiun DNS dashboard and also define policy rules.
