Configuring the Mozilla Firefox browser to use Lumiun DNS

In this configuration, Mozilla Firefox will send your requests to Lumiun DNS via the secure DoH (DNS-over-HTTPS) protocol.

In this article, we will discuss the specific configuration in the Mozilla Firefox browser.

Step-by-step

  1. Access the Settings of your Mozilla Firefox browser.

  2. Search for DNS over HTTPS and click the Configure connection button.

  3. Select the Maximum Protection option.

  4. In the Choose Provider option, select the Custom option.

  5. Fill in the text field with the DoH address of your Lumiun DNS site: https://doh.ldns.io/abcd1234 - replacing abcd1234 with the ID of the desired site - see what the ID is on the sites page.
That's it! You can now view reports on your Lumiun DNS dashboard and also define policy rules.
