How to customize the Lumiun DNS block page

Learn how to customize the block page with your company's identity by adding your own logo and message.

With Lumiun DNS on your network, the browser's default behavior is to display only a generic message stating that access was not possible. To provide clearer communication to the user, you can activate a Lumiun DNS block page, either the default or a customized template, where you can insert your company's logo and a guidance message.

Note: Feature available starting with the Pro Plan

Configuring the block page

  1. Access the Lumiun DNS Panel.
  2. Go to Settings Block page.
  3. Now you must activate the block page.
  4. After activation, you will have two options: the standard block page and the customized page, which is the focus of this article.
  5. Insert your logo by clicking Select Logo. Under Message, choose the notification that will be displayed, and under Warning Email, add an email address if you want to allow employees or colleagues to request access control review. If you do not want to enable this feature, simply leave the Warning Email field blank.
  6. Click Save.
  7. You can now view your custom lock screen when access is denied.

Warning: For the lock page to be displayed on HTTPS websites, you must install the Lumiun CA certificate. To do so, check out our article, which provides step-by-step instructions: Installing the Lumiun CA Certificate

Done! The block page is now configured.
